BTCA Rescue Mission

BTCA Rescue Mission

The BTCA through its’ Rescue Welfare Trust Fund (RWTF) purposes to aid and support Bull Terriers who are abandoned, surrendered or otherwise located in dangerous and/or undesirable circumstances.

The RWTF endeavors to effect this mission through the following principal methods.

* The BTCA wishes to support the efforts of its regional clubs; with assistance via a web based information network. This network lists dogs available for adoption, aids in the location and subsequent evaluation of potential homes, helps in organizing transport and fostering, and provides guidance for behavioral issues and training problems.

* The BTCA wishes to support the efforts of individual BTCA volunteers who are not affiliated with the regional Bull Terrier clubs or other organized rescue groups. These individuals must subscribe to and uphold the specific rescue policies of the BTCA.

* Through co-operation with other organized rescue groups who humanely care for and judiciously place dogs.
