The Rescue Welfare Trust Fund of the Bull Terrier Club of America (RWTFBTCA) purpose is to aid
and support Bull Terriers who are abandoned, surrendered or otherwise located in dangerous and/or
undesirable circumstances. The RWTFBTCA also supports public education concerning proper care and keeping of Bull Terriers including AKC Meet The Breed at different locations throughout the USA and supporting the health concerns of Bull Terriers including information on health clinics addressing health concerns for the breed and health studies that may better the breed.
The RWTFBTCA will support Bull Terriers through the Regional Clubs of the Bull Terrier Club of
America (BTCA), organized Bull Terrier Rescues, and individuals, throughout the United States that
are not associated with Regional Clubs or Rescues. These Clubs, Rescues and individuals must
subscribe to and uphold the specific rescue policies of the RWTFBTCA.
The RWTFBTCA will support Bull Terriers:
- By providing a web-based information network. This network lists dogs available for adoption,
aids in the location and subsequent evaluation of potential homes, helps in organizing transport
and fostering, and provides guidance for behavioral issues and training problems. - By providing supplemental monetary funds to assist with the care and medical expenses of the
dogs in order to ensure they are healthy and able to be placed into suitable homes.
