Rescue Hotline

To function effectively, a rescue program depends heavily on good and timely communications. As part of our rescue effort, the BTCA provides a toll free number for callers to inform us of their rescue needs.
This ‘Hot Line’, (800) BTBT911, is manned year round by our rescue support volunteers. It facilitates the flow of information about dogs currently in the system, and is used, amongst other things, to connect dogs with homes. It is therefore a fundamental component of our national rescue program.
But in addition to incoming calls received on the 800 number, our volunteers require to place a number of calls themselves in order to complete their mission. All of these communications are paid out of rescue funds, so we need donations to provide Hot Line service on an ongoing basis.
One day of Hot Line support can be provided for as little as $10.00, so even a small donation can have a significant benefit.
