Toro was rescued from the Euthanasia list at BARC in Houston, Tx. He had a horrible skin infection from fleas, old untreated ailing injuries from being hit by a car, and was heartworm positive.
Toro has done an excellent job healing while in foster care. He is a very playful and cuddly 3 year old 45lb gentleman with the Bull Terrier attitude to top it off. He’ll let you know how he’s feeling moment to moment and is quite expressive. He’s fantastic with kids and gets along with other dogs well. He would do best in a home with another dog that can match his energy and playfulness. He loves spending his days running around in the yard with frequent breaks to lounge and sunbathe. Mornings are his favorite time when he can spread out and lounge on the couch without a care in the world. Toro loves his humans and just wants affection and belly rubs. He is fixed and on heart-worm/flea preventative. A genuinely sweet guy that scratches the itch for someone wanting a bully with some spunk!
